Pounamu Pathway

At the Pounamu Pathway we were learning about Ngai Tahu fighting so then can have pounamu.

Here are where the biggest fights were.Kaniere,Mahinapoa and Paparoa.

Tuhuru from Ngai Tahu won the battle at Paparoa.

Maths

we have 4 flower beds and 7 bags of compost and we had to share them equally and this was.My answer one and three quarters.

Maths

I did maths. and learnt how to multiple two digit numbers.Here is a example 12 x 24 = 288. So to work this out I did (10×24) +(2×24) = 240+48=288.I can use it to help me to do my tabilse.It was very fun and hard.

Animal Poem

We wrote about our famaly and turned them into animals.  My favourite sentence is the one about my brother the buffalo.

What is your favourite sentence?

 

My Dad is like a pig because he eats like one.

My brother is like a buffalo because he can’t control his temper.

My mum is like a dog because I love her.

My friend Tane is like  a wise owl because he is really smart.

I am like a koala because I like to climb.

 

I like Poem

First we got to choose what we would do for our poem.  I choose to do a mixture of ideas.  Then we wrote about what we like and what we don’t like.  I enjoyed doing the picture.

 

Whem I’m Wild Writing

I enjoyd making the picture. I found writing hard because I had to make ideas and writ it down.

 

When I’m wild I Fight with my Brother.

When I’m wild I go up to my room and stay with my cat.

When I’m wild I make  pillow Huts then stay in them for about an hour.

When I’m wild  I cry  in  my bed.

When I’m wild I create a zombie.

When i’m wild I’m a spy.

When I  wild I annoy  my Brother.

When I’m wild I drink a lake.

When I’m wild I throw a house.

When I’m wild I destroy a city.
