Today on Wednesday after morning tea we went in to kotaku for St John’s we learnt about how to bandage and how to stop bleeding and if someone’s unconscious we were told to roll them over properly. we did this patient relay race where there was one patient and not two teams eight people on each team and we had to put 8 bandages on one person and see which team could do it the quickest. 
We are learning to scan a text for key information and think critically about the information located.

Matariki is the newest public holiday most people did not know much about Matariki.Matariki is a Cluster of stars, there are so many stories about matariki.Here is a picture of the Cluster and their names.We have learnt all the different stories about matariki.

At the Pounamu Pathway we were learning about Ngai Tahu fighting so then can have pounamu.
Here are where the biggest fights were.Kaniere,Mahinapoa and Paparoa.

This week me have been reading about.Moa,Moose and a Moth that had wings 15 cm long.
and then Miss Hickford told us to go and summarise a text in 30 words. I picked Moa. Here is my work.
we have 4 flower beds and 7 bags of compost and we had to share them equally and this was.My answer one and three quarters.
I did maths. and learnt how to multiple two digit numbers.Here is a example 12 x 24 = 288. So to work this out I did (10×24) +(2×24) = 240+48=288.I can use it to help me to do my tabilse.It was very fun and hard.
